MADISON, Wis. Madison police are investigating an attempted homicide on the city’s east side.
According to a report from the Madison Police Department, officers responded to a report of multiple gunshots near Darbo Drive around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Soon after, a 40-year-old man arrived at the hospital with two gunshot wounds.
Investigators at the scene said two people inside homes on the 200 block of North Marquette Street were hit by gunfire.
A woman and four small children were inside one of the homes during the gunfire.
