SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — A celebration of corn commenced this weekend in Sun Prairie.
The Sweet Corn Festival started back in 1953, and after adjusting in 2020 during the pandemic, it returned to its normal format in the city.
The festival raises money for several organizations in the community.
Over the years, anywhere from 80,000 to 100,000 ears of corn are sold during the festival.
